So, have you ever had a smoothie blow up in your face? These things seem to happen to me. Often. (Remember the Pumpkin Bread Batter Massacre of '17? Or the shattered bottle of Ningxia? I could go on...)

This installment of Michelle Should Not Be Allowed In The Kitchen involves berries. Of the deepest, darkest, most stain-able variety. Blackberries, raspberries, blueberries...you get the idea. You know when you're trying to blend something frozen and your blender seizes up because you didn't add enough liquid and so a big air pocket builds up underneath, near the blades, and the blending comes to an annoying halt? Well, it did that. And I opened the lid to stir it up. And as I did so, the air pocket exploded, sending frozen purpley berry slush flying into my face and hair...and on the front of one of my favorite shirts.

I ran for the bathroom sink, failed smoothie running down my glasses and dripping from my hair as I peeled my shirt off and frantically began rinsing and applying the usual stain-removal methods. The red came out, but the dark blue didn't. *sobpraycussalittle* I remembered we had just bought the Thieves laundry soap. Grabbed it. Applied a tiny little bit to the offensive stain. Rubbed it in. Rinsed it out. Stain was-I'm not even kidding you- GONE. ALL of it. No ring or tint. And it rinsed out SO quickly and cleanly- no residue left on my hands or my shirt. No suds everywhere. No chemical-y smell. No you tube videos and twelve steps using several different things. My shirt is now hanging happily in my closet again instead of bitterly crumpled up in the "never to be worn in public again" pile and I am THRILLED. I honestly keep waiting for something to be sucky, but....yeah. I am loving all the Thieves stuff :)
